The band will perform in Tampere together with Trivium, Paleface Swiss and VOLA.
Swedish metal giants In Flames will play the biggest Finnish show of their career to date next spring, when the band’s European tour arrives at Nokia Arena in Tampere on May 3.
Having won over an international fanbase with their melodic death metal, In Flames have built a career spanning more than 30 years. The band are widely known as pioneers of the so-called Gothenburg sound. A major inspiration and role model for countless other bands, In Flames are renowned for their melodic guitar riffs and infectious choruses — a force Finnish audiences last witnessed in Summer 2025 at Provinssi and Tuska Festival. In autumn 2024, the band also toured together with Arch Enemy, bringing the tour to an impressive sold-out finale at Helsinki Ice Hall.
In Flames are particularly remembered for their 1996 sophomore album The Jester Race, as well as Clayman and Reroute to Remain. Earlier this Spring, the band revealed that a new album is on the way.
In addition to In Flames, the Tampere show will feature American metal band Trivium and Swiss outfit Paleface Swiss. The evening will be opened by Copenhagen-based metal band VOLA. Tickets for the major metal event go on sale on Friday, August 28 via Lippu.fi.
