The duo performs in Helsinki in October.
Known as one of the defining protest acts of the modern era, post-punk duo Sleaford Mods returns to Finland. Combining biting anger, sharp humor, and uncompromising social commentary, the group will perform at Kulttuuritalo in Helsinki on Wednesday, October 28 as part of their European tour. Tickets go on sale on Friday, April 10 at 10 AM.
Formed in 2007 by Jason Williamson and Andrew Fearn, Sleaford Mods has risen from DIY roots to international success, cementing its position through sold-out tours, UK chart success, and widespread critical acclaim.
Their latest album, The Demise Of Planet X, released in January, explores themes of societal breakdown and the growing numbness of modern life through a more expansive sonic palette.
Live, the duo delivers an intense performance where minimalist, hypnotic beats provide the foundation for Jason Williamson’s raw and passionate vocal delivery. Previously seen in Finland at festivals such as Flow Festival and Sideways, the duo returns in October with their signature uncompromising and direct style, delivering modern spoken word at its finest.
