London-based electronic music duo Joy (Anonymous) has grown from a grassroots sensation into one of the most exciting names in UK dance music in just a few years. The pair will perform in Finland for the very first time when they take the stage at Ääniwalli in Helsinki on Saturday, September 5. Tickets go on sale on Friday, June 26 at 10:00 AM.
Blending garage, house, pop influences and powerful basslines into an uplifting and energetic sound, Joy (Anonymous) first gained widespread attention during the pandemic through a series of spontaneous outdoor performances. What began as a series of spontaneous performances quickly turned into a phenomenon, bringing together hundreds of people. Over the years, the duo has hosted surprise parties in New York and famously turned an improvised café set in Copenhagen into an all-night celebration.
Collaborations with artists including Fred again.., Skrillex and Eliza Rose have introduced their live performances to ever-growing audiences, while their second album, Cult Classics, released in 2023, confirmed that the duo is destined for even bigger stages.
This September, that same euphoric energy and genre-blurring sound will arrive at Ääniwalli for the duo's long-awaited first Finnish performance.
