Italian post-punk / death-rock outfit Horror Vacui, active since 2011, will perform at Korjaamo Kulmasali in Helsinki on Saturday, August 15. Tickets go on sale on Friday at 9:00 AM.
Blending goth aesthetics, punk energy and strong melodies in a distinctive way, the Bologna-based band's 2012 debut album In Darkness You Will Feel Alright received praise for its unique atmosphere, balancing melancholy and fierce intensity through driving basslines and infectious guitar riffs.
On their latest album Living For Nothing, released in 2020, Horror Vacui brought melodies further to the forefront while retaining the dark core of death rock. Set for release in August, Shadows Sanctuary marks the band's first full-length album in six years, and its title track offers a glimpse into a more cinematic journey through mist-covered gothic landscapes.
The band has toured extensively across Europe and the Americas, sharing stages with acts such as Molchat Doma, Sunn O))), She Past Away and Christian Death. Renowned for their intense live performances and dark visual aesthetic, Horror Vacui have built a loyal following around the world.
