Known for their genre-blending approach to alternative rock, American band Dead Poet Society will make their long-awaited Finnish debut at Tiivistämö in Helsinki on Friday, 5 March 2027. Tickets go on sale on Friday, 3 July at 11.
Founded in Boston and led by Jack Underkofler, Dead Poet Society combines elements of hard rock, grunge, blues rock and alternative rock into a sound that is both heavy and unmistakably their own. The band's debut EP Axiom (2015) introduced their raw, high-energy style, followed by the critically acclaimed debut album -!- in 2021. Their latest single, Sinner Systems, stands among the quartet's most compelling releases to date, further expanding their dark, riff-driven sound while showcasing an ear for memorable melodies.
Over the past few years, Dead Poet Society has appeared at major rock festivals including Louder Than Life and Welcome to Rockville, while also touring extensively both as a headliner and alongside artists such as Highly Suspect, Badflower and The Warning. In March 2027, Finnish fans will finally get the chance to experience the band's powerful live show and immerse themselves in their dark yet irresistibly melodic sound for the very first time.
