Canadian pop chameleon Allie X will perform in Finland for the first time. Known for bending genre boundaries and crafting avant-garde electronic pop, she will take the stage at Korjaamo in Helsinki on Tuesday, September 29. Tickets go on sale on Thursday, April 30 at 9:00 AM via Lippu.fi.
Allie X, also known as Alexandra Hughes, is a singer-songwriter recognized for her strong visual artistry. Her work combines unconventional soundscapes, melodies inspired by Lady Gaga and Charli XCX, danceability, and a bold, gothic-leaning visual world. Also working as a producer, she has collaborated repeatedly with Australian pop star Troye Sivan.
Having launched her career over a decade ago, Allie X released her latest album Happiness Is Going To Get You last year. The record also reveals a more instrumental and delicate side of her sound, balancing her earlier hits such as the provocative dance track Off With Her Tits.
