Known for their colossal and crushing sound, metalcore heavyweight Architects will make their long-awaited return to Finland early next year. The tour, celebrating the release of their new album The Sky, The Earth & All Between, will hit Helsinki Ice Hall on Sunday, January 18. The night will feature two very special guests: the rapidly rising French band Landmvrks and one of the most talked-about new acts in metal, the mysterious British group President. Tickets for this high-octane event go on sale at Lippu.fi on Wednesday, July 2 at 11:00 AM.
Formed in Brighton in 2004, Architects have steadily carved their way into the top tier of the metalcore genre. Fusing relentless aggression with irresistibly catchy riffs, the visionary quartet has released 11 studio albums, the latest being The Sky, the Earth & All Between, which dropped in February and is already hailed as one of the year’s most important metal releases. Enjoying massive global popularity, the band has also built a dedicated Finnish fanbase — most recently winning over local crowds at Provinssi Festival 2023 and as an opening act for Metallica's stadium tour, which stopped at Helsinki Olympic Stadium last summer.
Special guests Landmvrks have quickly become one of the most-watched names in modern metal. Widely praised for their unique sound, the French group blends emotionally charged metalcore with influences ranging from hardcore punk and nu-metal to hip hop. Formed in 2014, the band released their fourth studio album, The Darkest Place I’ve Ever Been, in April.
Opening the night is President, an anonymous UK-based act currently making waves across the heavy music scene. Since releasing their debut single In the Name of the Father in May, this enigmatic outfit has stirred excitement among fans of Sleep Token, Slipknot, and Deftones alike. Their debut performance at the legendary Download Festival left a lasting impression, solidifying President as one of the standout metal phenomena of the year.
