Daði Freyr rose to international fame representing Iceland in the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest with his hit “10 Years,” placing sixth in the final. Since then, his career has skyrocketed: over 200 million streams have turned into sold-out international tours.
In August 2023, Daði Freyr released his first full-length English-language studio album I Made An Album, showcasing his unique blend of disco pop and electro dance. Entirely self-produced and recorded, the album explores themes of gratitude, self-reflection, and the joy of life. True to his signature ironic and humorous lyrical style, Freyr describes his music and the phenomenon surrounding it with the words: “Good vibes only.
