The undisputed legend of electronic music, The Prodigy (UK), has been added to the lineup of Provinssi, taking place 25–27 June 2026, alongside Finnish rock giant Eppu Normaali, who will be giving their farewell shows on festival stages. Tickets are now on sale at provinssi.fi/liput!
For over 30 years, The Prodigy has fused techno, breakbeat and punk in a way that has redefined the boundaries of electronic music. The raw energy of their 1992 debut Experience evolved into a more nuanced form on their breakthrough album Music for the Jilted Generation (1994). The band reached global cult status with the 1997 classic Fat of the Land. Iconic tracks such as Voodoo People, No Good, Firestarter and Breathe have become deeply embedded in the collective memory of multiple generations.
The band is currently working on new music, which Liam Howlett describes as a return to The Prodigy’s original “evil rave” roots. Ranked among the world’s best live bands, The Prodigy’s intense show is complemented by a masterfully crafted visual production where lights, projections and stage design come together to create an unforgettable experience.
Performing for the final time in Seinäjoki at next summer’s Provinssi, Eppu Normaali further strengthens the music programme already announced for the Festival of People.
