Internationally acclaimed stand-up comedian Micky Overman is bringing her Hold On tour to Finland this fall. The show, taking place at KULT Club in Helsinki on Wednesday, October 15, is a surprising and deeply personal journey through change, commitment, and letting go of old habits. “I’ve learned a lot this year, about myself, love, life and the power of asking for help. This show takes you through all of it, with a lot of silly detours on the way. Plus, it’s got a lot of Ozzy Osbourne if that’s your vibe,” Micky says. Originally from the Netherlands, Overman moved to London about ten years ago and quickly made waves in the UK comedy scene, reaching the finals of both the Funny Women and Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year competitions within her first year. She was soon after nominated for Chortle’s Best Newcomer and performed her debut solo show at the prestigious Edinburgh Festival. Over the years, she has performed across Germany, Estonia, Norway, and also in Finland, most recently at Helsinki’s Comedy Stop Festival in September 2024.
