Danish sound artist and composer Sofie Birch arrives in Finland next spring. She will perform at Tullikamari Klubi in Tampere on 24 March 2027. Tickets go on sale at Tiketti on Friday, 23 October at 10 am.
Sofie Birch’s music combines field recordings, electronic textures, synthesis, and voice to create delicate and atmospheric soundscapes. Her work invites listeners to immerse themselves in the world of sound and experience their surroundings in new ways.
For over a decade, Birch has composed and produced sound for theatre, film, and various art installations. Her work has received international recognition, including the Carl Nielsen Talent Prize. She performs internationally both as a solo artist and in collaboration with singer and composer Antonina Nowacka. She also hosts the monthly radio show Ambient Abracadabra on NTS, where adventurous experimental sound works are interwoven with excerpts from conversations exploring natural medicine, spiritual inquiry, and the unknown.
