Brazilian metal pioneer Sepultura will arrive in Finland in August 2026. The band’s massive farewell tour will stop at Tavastia in Helsinki on Saturday, August 1. Tickets go on sale on Thursday, December 18 at 11:00 via Tiketti.
Formed over 40 years ago, Sepultura is one of the most influential bands in metal music. The band combines thrash and death metal with elements of Brazilian music. Over the years, Sepultura has released 15 studio albums and toured in around 80 countries. Their most famous album, Roots, has reached 150 million streams on Spotify.
The farewell tour, Celebrating Life Through Death, began in early 2024 and celebrates the band’s long career and its fans around the world. On this tour, Sepultura is joined by 23-year-old American drummer Greyson Nekrutman. The Helsinki show will be the final chance to see Sepultura perform live in Finland.
