NORWEGIAN HARDCORE TRIO HAMMOK TO FINLAND

Norway's hottest rising star in the hardcore scene, Hammok, will debut in Finland this October.

The Oslo-based band, rapidly climbing to become one of the most interesting Nordic names in their genre, will perform at Bar Kotelo in Tampere and Korjaamo in Helsinki on October 11th–12th 2024. Ticket sales for the shows will begin tomorrow, Thursday, August 15th at 9AM in the venues' ticket vendors.

Hammok made a breakthrough at the 2023 ESNS showcase festival with a performance rumored to have been one of the best of the entire event. They were already noted by music media like Pitchfork after the release of their debut EP “Jumping/Dancing/Fighting,” where the noise trio's music was described as massive walls of sound that leave no room for feeling. This year, Hammok has been on an extensive European tour, where their fans have been able to mosh to the colossal and loud, genre-faithful tracks from their debut album “Look How Long Everything Is Moving Forward For Once,” released in March.

Opening for Hammok in Finland will be the post-hardcore quartet Aaltoja, known for their authentic emotions and guitar melodies at their core, and the energetic post-punk band Hites, who fight boredom with humor and rage.
