NADA SURF TO PERFORM IN FINLAND FOR THE FIRST TIME NEXT FALL

The American power pop great Nada Surf will arrive in Finland for the first time next fall after nearly three decades of anticipation. The highly awaited concert will take place at Helsinki’s Tavastia Club on Thursday, September 25. Ticket sales for the show, by the band that released their 10th studio album Moon Mirror to worldwide critical acclaim last fall, will begin via Tiketti on Wednesday, April 30 at 9 AM.

Combining brilliantly catchy pop hooks with emotionally charged power chords, Nada Surf broke into the forefront of alternative music with their debut album High/Low (1996), featuring the single Popular, which has cemented its place among indie rock classics. Over the years, the New York-based band has established a reputation as a highly respected live act, releasing numerous albums beloved by fans and critics alike, including Let Go (2002), The Weight Is a Gift (2005), and The Stars Are Indifferent to Astronomy (2012). Their latest release, Moon Mirror, which came out in fall 2024, was listed among the year’s best indie rock albums by esteemed publications such as Rolling Stone.
