INDIE ROCK BAND JOKER OUT CELEBRATING ITS 10TH ANNIVERSARY RETURNS TO FINLAND

Slovenian indie rock band Joker Out will return to Finland in early summer, performing at Tavastia in Helsinki on Sunday, May 24. Tickets for the band’s 10th anniversary show go on sale on Friday, April 10 at 10:00 AM via Tiketti.

Describing their sound as “Shagadelic Rock n’ Roll,” the Ljubljana-based group was formed in 2016 and has since steadily grown its international fanbase. The band gained wider global recognition with their song Carpe Diem at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest, and has since played to sold-out venues across Europe. Over the course of their career, Joker Out has received several notable accolades, including “Slovenian Artist of the Year” for two consecutive years, as well as multiple Zlata piščal awards (often referred to as the Slovenian Grammys) in categories such as “Performer of the Year” and “Emerging Talent of the Year.”

Joker Out has already performed in Finland several times. The band first visited the country in 2023, playing sold-out shows in Tampere, Turku and Helsinki. This spring, they will also join Käärijä on stage, following their friendship formed during Eurovision.
