The concerts are part of the band’s extensive The Magician’s Farewell farewell tour.
Hard rock institution Uriah Heep will play four shows in Finland in January as part of their career-ending farewell tour. The Magician’s Farewell tour, which began earlier this year, will take place in January 2026 in Tampere, Turku, Jyväskylä, and Helsinki. Ticket sales for the shows start on Thursday, September 25 at 10:00 AM, via Lippu.fi.
Having firmly cemented its place in the foundations of progressive hard rock already in the 1970s, Uriah Heep has succeeded in defining its genre and creating its own distinctive style, all while continually developing its sound. Throughout the years, the band has maintained its position alongside massive peer groups such as Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, and Queen. Already known for an extensive discography, Uriah Heep released its latest studio album, Chaos & Color, in 2023, after which the number of albums sold over the band’s career has impressively risen to more than 40 million.
Uriah Heep is considered to be one of the greatest bands of rock music’s golden age. During its breathtaking and unique journey of more than 55 years, the band has seen over twenty members. Nevertheless, the band has managed to hold on to a style that combines the genre’s trademark heavy guitar sounds, organic feel, and innovative playfulness.
The Magician’s Farewell farewell tour began in February 2025 and is expected to continue for at least a couple of years. The British rock band Heavy Pettin will perform as an opening act for all Finland shows.
