The critically acclaimed British alternative rock band Black Country, New Road is coming to Finland. Known for their boundless expression, rich instrumental palette, and emotionally charged songs, the band will perform at Ääniwalli in Helsinki on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, as part of their European tour.

Formed in 2018, Black Country, New Road quickly rose to critical acclaim with intensely built compositions and spoken-word-influenced vocals that explore relationships and their tensions with brutal honesty.
Their Mercury Prize–nominated debut For the First Time established the band’s distinctive sound, blending post-punk, chamber pop, and math rock. The follow-up, Ants from Up There, pushed the music toward a more melodic and emotionally open expression. Their latest album, Forever Howlong, marks a new chapter, embracing a more communal approach with multiple lead vocalists and a richly layered, expansive instrumental palette.
Black Country, New Road’s live performances are renowned for their intensity and unpredictability. The band has previously appeared at festivals such as Primavera Sound, End of the Road Festival, and Perth Festival. Their upcoming tour marks the band’s first-ever visit to Finland.
