Internationally acclaimed Songhoy Blues will return to Helsinki this autumn, taking the stage at Korjaamo’s Vaunusali on Thursday, October 29. Tickets go on sale on Thursday, April 30 at 12:00 PM via Lippu.fi.
Songhoy Blues are known for their intense interplay, combining high energy with infectious rhythms. Their 2015 debut album Music in Exile quickly propelled the band onto the international stage, opening doors to venues around the world. They have captivated audiences at festivals such as Glastonbury Festival, Roskilde Festival and Primavera Sound, and were also seen in Finland at Flow Festival in 2016. Subsequent releases have pushed Songhoy Blues’ sound boldly toward funk and pop influences, further cementing their place among the most compelling names in modern African rock.
Their latest album Héritage (2025) continues this evolution with a more acoustic and tradition-emphasizing approach. The band celebrated the release with a European tour last summer, and the upcoming Korjaamo show offers a rare opportunity to experience their captivating live energy up close.
