The American EBM duo Youth Code has established itself as a distinctive force in modern industrial and electronic-heavy music. Formed by Sara Taylor and Ryan George, the band has gained recognition for its intense sound that blends elements of synth-pop, dance rock, and aggressive industrial textures. 

With critically acclaimed releases such as A Place to Stand (2014) and Commitment to Complications (2016), Youth Code quickly rose to prominence, touring alongside artists like Chelsea Wolfe and Skinny Puppy, as well as performing on large stages with My Chemical Romance and Nine Inch Nails. Their music draws influence from acts like New Order and Depeche Mode, while pushing the sound into heavier and more abrasive territory. 

Released in spring 2025, the Yours, With Malice EP showcases the band’s evolution, incorporating elements of ’90s industrial metal and machine-driven grooves. Strong melodies combined with Sanford Parker’s powerful production — marked by sharp, hard-hitting drum sounds, create a dynamic and immersive listening experience. 

Known for their raw energy and uncompromising live presence, Youth Code delivers performances that are both intense and emotionally charged. After a five-year hiatus, the duo returns in 2026 with an extensive world tour, marking a new chapter in their career.
