Vreid is a Norwegian black 'n' roll band formed in 2004 from the members of the now-disbanded black metal band Windir, after the death of Windir's vocalist, Valfar. The band, hailing from Sogndal, Norway, is known for its historical lyrical themes, and has evolved their blackishroots to incorporate elements of classic rock and 70s and 80s metal, creating their unique "black 'n' roll" sound. Sognametal veterans has since 2004 released 9 albums and done over 600 shows in 25 countries. The last years Vreid have performed major festival such as Hellfest, Wacken, Summer Breeze, Tons of Rock, 70 000 tons of Metal, Hell & Heaven, Inferno, Beyond the gates.
