Singer-songwriter Tuure Kilpeläinen is touring with his new band, featuring Ansku Mellanen (bass, guitar, vocals), Julius Sihvonen (keyboards, vocals), Eliel Viitala (drums), and Jussi Jaakonaho (guitar). The shows will include selections spanning Tuure's entire career, including the Kaihon Karavaani era. Over his career, Kilpeläinen has achieved multiple gold and platinum records, several Emma awards, and most recently won the Iskelmä-Finlandia award in summer 2023. In the fall of 2023, he released his latest album, Sanat jää ilmaan, produced by Johannes Brotherus from the band KUUMAA. The album combines a modern production style with Kilpeläinen’s signature beloved voice and personal lyrics. Alongside new elements, it also features the familiar warmth and immediacy that fans cherish: a rough yet velvety delivery that radiates energy.
