Singer-songwriter Tuure Kilpeläinen released his new album “Odotin näpyä, tuli laaka” in autumn 2025 and continues to tour actively with his band of top-tier musicians. His concerts feature songs spanning the versatile artist’s entire career, including material from his Kaihon Karavaani years.
Over the course of his career, Tuure Kilpeläinen has released more than ten albums and received multiple awards: five gold records, three platinum records, and several Emma Awards — including Song of the Year (1998) for “Suljettu sydän” (written for Jonna Tervomaa), Male Artist of the Year (2011), and Best Schlager Album for three consecutive years with Valonpisaroita (2010), Erämaa (2011), and Afrikan tähti (2012). Most recently, he was honored with the Iskelmä-Finlandia Award in summer 2023. His latest album, Sanat jää ilmaan, was released in autumn 2023.
