Tonium 4 was born from the ashes of Plutonium 74 and marks the band's founders’ return to their roots – back to where the story began in year 4. At that time, a group of friends fascinated by electronic tracker music, reverb pedals, synthesizers, techno, old-school jungle, and rap skipped school and ended up in a bomb shelter, learning the basics of sequencer music and dramaturgy.
At Tonium 4's gigs, you'll hear new versions of old Plutonium 74 songs, but the drive and momentum are also focused on composing and creating new material. The orchestra operates with samplers and drum machines, while also incorporating acoustic instruments ranging from guitars and ukuleles to trombones and flutes!
