The Sounds, a Swedish indie rock band formed in 1999, incorporates elements of electronic and pop music into their sound. The band is fronted by the powerful vocalist Maja Ivarsson. Other members include childhood friends and founding members Felix Rodriguez (guitar) and Johan Bengtsson (bass), along with drummer Fredrik Nilsson and keyboardist Jesper Anderberg.
Some of their most well-known songs include "Living in America," "Painted by Numbers," "Seven Days a Week," "Tony the Beat," and "No One Sleeps When I’m Awake."
