The American doom metal band The Skull was founded in 2012 by iconic Trouble vocalist Eric Wagner, bassist Ron Holzner, and drummer Jeff Olson. Originally intended to perform early Trouble material live, the band evolved over its more than seven-year career, releasing their debut album For Those Which Are Asleep in 2014. The Skull's lineup includes Witch Mountain guitarist Rob Wrong and former Cathedral drummer Brian Dixon.
