The band SARPARANTA is the long-awaited return to the music field of Sampsa Sarparanta, previously known as the singer/songwriter of the punk band No Shame, as well as a visual artist. The band's music is a mix of punk and more rustic music.
The band started in 2021 and released their first album "Takaisin merkitykseen" in the same year. In addition to Sampsa himself, Janne Tanskanen (guitar, pedal-steel, programming), Olli Noroviita (bass) and Saska Ketonen (drums) are members of the SARPARANTA band.
