Ruusut is one of the most prominent Finnish bands in the field of electronic pop music. Their debut album Ruusut, released in autumn 2018, combined the best elements of experimentation and pop, earning the band both Emma Award nominations and a gold record. Their second album, Kevätuhri, released in summer 2020, remained high on the Finnish album charts for an extended period. In April 2023, the simultaneously released albums Melankolia 1 and Melankolia 2 took the band’s sound further into darker aesthetics and orchestral arrangements
