Queens of the Stone Age, one of the world's biggest rock bands, will arrive in Finland next summer. The massively popular band will perform at Helsinki Ice Hall on Monday 4 August. The opening act of the night will be London's rising talent, So Good. Tickets for the concert go on sale on Lippu.fi on Friday 24 January at 10am.
Founded in Palm Desert, California in 1996 by Joshua Homme, Queens of the Stone Age is a multi-dimensional musical ensemble that over the years has crossed genre boundaries with ambition and simple genius. Renowned for their prolific production, the band has released eight studio albums over the course of their career, the most recent of which, In Times New Roman..., was released in 2023. Flavouring their blood and sweat soaked rock sound with dark magical rapture, QOTSA's mega-hits such as No One Knows, Little Sister, My God is the Sun and Emotion Sickness have cemented the band's place among the giants of modern rock music.
Acclaimed as one of the best live bands of all time, Queens of the Stone Age is made up of Joshua Homme (vocals, guitar), Troy Van Leeuwen (guitar), Michael Shuman (bass), Dean Fertita (keyboards) and Jon Theodore (drums).
