Founded in 1997, Primal Fear is one of Germany’s most respected power metal bands. Formed by by vocalist Ralf Scheepers and bassist Mat Sinner, the band is known for powerful vocals, virtuosic musicianship, and a sound that honors classic metal traditions. The refreshed lineup includes guitarists Magnus Karlsson and Thalìa Bellazecca, as well as drummer André Hilgers.
The band’s debut album, Primal Fear, was released in 1998 and immediately achieved success on the German charts. Over a career spanning more than 25 years, Primal Fear has cemented its position at the forefront of power metal. The band’s discography includes 15 studio albums, with notable releases such as Nuclear Fire, Metal Commando, and the previous chart-topper Code Red. Released in September, Domination is Primal Fear’s latest studio album and marks the beginning of an extensive European tour celebrating the band’s 25-year career. The album picks up where Code Red left off, only bigger and more epic, featuring intense opening track The Hunter and the first single Far Away.
Primal Fear is also know for their intense live performances, described as powerful metal rituals where the audience becomes a fully engaged part of the show.
