Peyton Parrish, an American artist combining metal, country and Viking traditions, became a viral phenomenon in 2020 with his version of the song My Mother Told Me from The Assassin's Creed Valhalla game. In the same year, the then only 23-year-old musician released his debut album Cowboy Man, which aroused the interest of the general public with his songs intertwining post-grunge and metal music with mystical legends and traditions.
Parrish, who started his career by publishing his own songs and cover songs online, grew a wide audience with his self-released EPs. In a short time, he has managed to create a distinctive sound and genre, for which he has found devoted fans in the worlds of music, games and TV series. Last year, the artist surprised his fans by releasing an album of his favorite songs from Disney movies. The Most Magical Album On Earth reached number one on the Billboard chart and includes, among other things, classics from the Hercules and Mulan movies.
