Pambikallio will release their highly anticipated third album in February 2026
and return to the stage with a renewed live lineup in the spring.
Pambikallio has captivated audiences with their dream pop–influenced alternative
pop since their first release. Starting out as a duo, the band quickly rose to indie
prominence in 2022 and has since evolved into a radiant live act. Core members
Pauliina Koivusaari and Lauri Kallio are responsible for the band’s creative vision,
recording, and mixing.
On their third album, Pambikallio takes a more extroverted turn, bending pop and
electronic soundscapes into their own distinctive reality. The songs and production
play with contrasts – between organic and digital, soft and raw, nostalgic and
futuristic. The result stretches pop’s boundaries toward a prog-influenced
spaciousness, offering listeners a sound that is both catchy and refreshingly unique
within the Finnish scene.
Pambikallio released their debut album in March 2022, receiving enthusiastic
acclaim from both audiences and critics. Their second album, Parc de Pambi
(2023), presented the band’s more delicate and intricate side with string and horn
arrangements, while the Dekadentti / Florence (2024) EP drew listeners into a more
electronic and dance-driven world.
The band has performed at Finland’s biggest festivals — including Ruisrock,
Sideways, and Pori Jazz — and has been featured as a YleX Läpimurto 2022
artist as well as nominated for Emma Gaala (2024), Indie Awards (2022), and
Femma Awards (2022).
