Nupu is a band with a fresh punk attitude, consisting of highly talented musicians, songwriters, and producers. Founded in 2020, Nupu delivers modern Finnish-language band pop with top-tier live performances and energy, ready to take on even the biggest stages. Their music embodies summer, melodrama, love, and the essence of 2020s youth.
In October 2022, Nupu released their debut album Valheet, tupakka ja reivit and has been actively touring ever since. In December 2023, the band won the Uudet soundit competition organized by Teosto and Nelonen, securing a performance slot at the 2024 SuomiPop Festival in Jyväskylä. Nupu’s latest single, Kuumis, was released in July 2024.
