Formed in 2009, Australian band Northlane have established themselves as pioneers of modern metal. Their discography includes several successful albums, such as the chart-topping Node, as well as the critically acclaimed Singularity, Mesmer, Alien, and Obsidian. In 2025 the band celebrated the 10th anniversary of Node by releasing a newly re-recorded version featuring an even heavier production.
Northlane have received multiple accolades throughout their career, including three ARIA Awards for Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Album and two AIR Awards for Best Independent Heavy Album.
