MURCOF x SERGI PALAU

MURCOF x SERGI PALAU

The unique immersive collaboration between Murcof, a master of minimalist electronic music, and Sergi Palau, known for his visual artistry.

Fearlessly drawing inspiration from ambient, minimalist techno, industrial, and classical music, Murcof, also known as Fernando Corona, has been making music since the late 80s, performing in various rock and jazz bands. The Mexican-born Corona's electronic project Murcof began in the early 2000s when he started sampling modern classical music into electronic sounds.

Sergi Palau, who is responsible for the visual aspect of the collaboration, is known as the founder of the Niño Viejo art collective. Also a member of the visual creation laboratory Radianten and the artistic director of the VOlumens festival, Palau has served as a VJ at numerous festivals and has worked with many musicians including Felix Da Housecat, Roni Size, and Richie Hawtin.
