MATOMA

MATOMA

Norwegian DJ and producer.

Tom Stræte Lagergren, known as Matoma, quickly rose to fame as a master of catchy tropical house rhythms and deep house music. Matoma has surpassed a billion streams with his collaborative projects and remixes for top artists such as Akon, Coldplay, Dua Lipa, Jason Derulo, Jennifer Lopez, Jessie J, Sean Paul, and One Direction.

After making an international breakthrough in 2015 with his remix of Notorious B.I.G.'s "Old Thing Back," Matoma released his debut album One In A Million in August 2018. The album features a mix of new and familiar faces, including Enrique Iglesias, James Newman, Nina Nesbitt, and Yashua, and includes Matoma's four biggest hits: "False Alarm" (Becky Hill), "Lonely" (MAX), "Slow" (Noah Cyrus), and "All Night" (The Vamps). The album’s single "Sunday Morning" has been described as a summery version of Yeah Yeah Yeahs' indie hit "Heads Will Roll."
