Loiriplukari’s upbeat music became popular in 2017 with songs "Ei voi laittaa verotukseen" and "Tää kesä meni Airistolla" which have already become cult classics. Behind the artist name is Kalle Taivainen, who imitates Vesa-Matti Loiri's iconic voice with his singing style. Taivainen is a long-time musician known from the comeback band Xysma, for whom music has served as a lifeline in the most difficult times. The artist draws inspiration from life's happy and tragic stories, and with his new song "Dynamon Yöt" also from the nights of Turku's legendary Dynamo club in 1997. The song features the artist’s former bandmate Jori Roosberg from the days of the Magenta Skycode band.

The artist's live performances, which mix different art forms in an unpredictable way, have taken him all the way from festival stages to theaters and sold-out concerts. Loiriplukari's fourth album "Make rakastaa, ei sodi" was released in June 2023.
