Lauantaidisko is a nightlife institution. Lauantaidisko, or “Ladi,” is a cornerstone of Helsinki’s nightlife. This DJ collective has mastered the art of diverse pop music, seamlessly blending fresh hits, timeless classics, and forgotten gems to create the ultimate party sets for any occasion. At its core is the legendary club night that packed dance floors at Tavastia week after week from 2009 to 2024. With high-quality music and a commitment to pure fun, Lauantaidisko attracted hundreds of thousands of guests over 650 nights before its grand finale in May 2024. Today, the collective continues its journey through gigs and special events, with venues including Kuudes Linja.
Lauantaidisko DJs have performed not only in clubs but also at major festivals like Flow, Ruisrock, and Provinssi, as well as twice on Slush’s main stage. Their resume spans student and corporate events nationwide, alongside hosting programs on Radio Helsinki. The current lineup is helmed by DJs Erkko and Lunawil, with Harvest and Mini rounding out the latest roster. Lauantaidisko DJs perform as a duo or solo, bringing decades of expertise to the decks. Their sets cover a wide range of themes, from ‘80s and ‘90s nostalgia to 2000s anthems, Finnish pop, and indie sleaze vibes—always infused with the golden-era spirit of Lauantaidisko itself.
