London-based electronic music duo Joy (Anonymous) has grown into a cult phenomenon and one of the most exciting names in UK dance music in just a few years. Blending garage, house, pop influences and powerful basslines into an uplifting and energetic sound, Joy (Anonymous) first gained widespread attention during the pandemic through a series of spontaneous outdoor performances. What began as a series of spontaneous performances quickly turned into a phenomenon, bringing together hundreds of people.
Over the years, the duo has hosted surprise parties in New York and famously turned an improvised café set in Copenhagen into an all-night celebration. Collaborations with artists including Fred again.., Skrillex and Eliza Rose have introduced their live performances to ever-growing audiences, while their second album, Cult Classics, released in 2023, confirmed that the duo is destined for even bigger stages.
