US-based jazz collective Irreversible Entanglements, formed by poet-singer Camae Ayewan (a.k.a Moor Mother), saxophonist Keir Neuringer, bassist Luke Stewart, trumpet player Aquiles Navarron, and drummer Tcheser Holmesin, combines adventurous free jazz improvisation with Ayewa’s lyrics that circle around the themes of afro american trauma and empowerment.
