Honningbarna, one of the leading names in Norwegian punk rock, released their latest album Soft Spot in 2025. The record received nominations in four different categories at Norway’s Grammy Awards. Known for their explosive live performances, the band sings in Norwegian and frequently addresses social issues in their lyrics, including injustice, the darker sides of capitalism, and abuse of power.
Founded in 2009 in Kristiansand, Honningbarna first broke into the public spotlight with their debut album La Alarmane Gå (2011). The band’s second album, Verden er Enkel, was recorded with producer Pelle Gunnerfeldt, known for his work with Refused and The Hives. Having toured extensively around the world, Honningbarna were most recently seen in Finland at a sold-out club show in Helsinki in December 2025 and at the Kesärauha festival in Turku in summer 2026.
