DJ-producer Andy Butler’s constantly renewing musical project Hercules & Love Affair will perform at Sideways on Saturday evening, a day after the release of the up-coming album “In Amber”. The album has been made in co-operation with e.g. Anohni, who also features in the collective’s probably best known song “Blind”. As an exception to its genre, the album discusses themes like rage and contemplation of self.
Hercules & Love Affair has for almost 20 years reshaped pop and house with alternationg ensembles. Butler’s vision of dance music has convinced at clubs around the world with his ability to intertwine producers, singers and instrumentalists with each other.
