Grave Pleasures, formed from the remains of Beastmilk in 2015, is a post punk band whose second album ”Motherblood” became a cult classic after its release. The band has made us wait for a follow-up, but the beginning of this year gave a relief as a brand new singe ”Society of Spectres”. Grave Pleasures has told that the upcoming third album (set for release in April 2023) will once again outweigh all expectations and be the most dangerous album yet.
The band that describes itself as a warcry for the eternally doomed consists of the super powers of singer Mat McNerney, bassist Valtteri Arino, guitarists Juho Vanhanen and Aleksi Kiiskilä, and drummer Rainer Tuomikanto. The new music introduces more emotional depth, 80’s new wave aesthetic, and the ghoulish urban life.
