Free Carmen is a four-piece alternative rock band. The band rose to fans' radar with their independently produced double album Solstice I and Solstice II. Released exactly six months apart on the summer and winter solstices, the albums form two halves of Free Carmen’s first full-length body of work. Blending organic instrumentation with shades of alternative rock and folk, the band has since taken its music from Finnish stages abroad, and has along the way been seen supporting acts such as Black Country, New Road and Razorlight. The Solstice tour will conclude abroad in autumn 2026, after which the band will return home towards the end of the year with new music.
Free Carmen’s five-track EP Beekeeping will be released on November 27. The year will end with two Beekeeping concerts at G Livelabs in Helsinki and Tampere.
