ENNIO MORRICONE

Italian composer Ennio Morricone (1928-2020) left an indelible mark on film music, and most of the most iconic soundtracks in the world of cinema were composed by Morricone. The legendary artist wrote music for early spaghetti westerns and award-winning art house films as well as for successful blockbuster magnets. Over the decades, the multiple Oscar- and Grammy-winning Ennio Morricone worked with directors such as Sergio Leone, Oliver Stone, Terence Malick, Brian De Palma, Pier Paolo Pasolini and Roman Polanski.
