The Sámi artist, activist, and actress Ella Marie has captivated audiences as the charismatic frontwoman of the band ISÁK and gained international recognition after winning Norway’s Stjernekamp in 2018. Over the past year, she has embarked on a solo career, performing timeless and beautiful pop music in Northern Sámi, making her debut at renowned festivals such as Riddu Riđđu and Øya. Throughout the year, Ella Marie has released four singles and is currently working on her debut album. Over the years, she has also been recognized for her advocacy of Sámi rights, standing as one of Scandinavia’s leading voices for Indigenous rights. She made her acting debut in the lead role of the drama Let the River Flow (Ellos eatnu).
