Daði Freyr captured the hearts of Europeans and the whole world when he performed as Iceland's Eurovision representative in 2021 with his song "10 Years", placing sixth in the final. The artist would also have represented Iceland with the song "Think About Things", which collected a whopping million streams, in 2020 before Eurovision was cancelled. After Eurovision, Freyr's career skyrocketed as more than 200 million streams materialized into sold-out tours.
In his lyrics, Freyr combines both self-reflection and elements of humor, familiar from his earlier productions. In Daði's words, “Good vibes only. Love who you are, unless you're a horrible person, then change!”.
