CONVERGE

CONVERGE

Playing metal-influenced hardcore, Converge is undoubtedly one of the most influential names in their genre. A major inspiration for the early Disco Ensemble, and part of the same scene as Dillinger Escape Plan, the US band is also known as a pioneer of technical mathcore and a hardcore innovator. Modern metalcore would hardly have been born without Converge's contribution. Active since the early 1990s, Converge is best remembered for its albums "Jane Doe" (2001) and "Axe to Fall" (2009), both of which are part of the technical hardcore canon. Throughout their long career, Converge have remained active and have continuously updated their sound.
