Celeste, founded in Lyon in 2005, is one of France’s black metal avant-guards. The quartet draws inspiration from black metal, sludge and post-hardcore, and has during the years shaped their own, highly dignified sound based on these influences.
Celeste’s fifth album “Assassine(s)” will be released on January 28th via he renowned label Nuclear Blast (e.g. Slayer, and Oranssi Pazuzu). The album is recorded and mixed by Chris Edrich, who is known for his work with bands like Gojira, Leprous, and Tessearct.
