Finnish favorite band Brian will celebrate the release of their fourth album Kultakausi in autumn 2026 with a tour covering Finland’s most important university cities. In addition to songs from the brand-new album, the shows will feature a rotating selection of fan-favorite classics from throughout the band’s career.
The duo of Kata Laakso and Miro Palokallio has seen a rapid rise in popularity in recent years. Their 2025 album Ei tunnu kipua enää ("No More Pain") gained significant attention, with its first single Turussa kaikki on toisin ("Everything’s Different in Turku") winning Yle Radio Suomi’s Levylautakunta panel and even receiving airplay in Sweden. One of the band’s most enduring live staples, Haluan saada turpaan ("I Want to Get Punched"), originally from their debut album, resurged this spring as a viral TikTok meme.
Brian’s electrifying live lineup, known for its chaotic virtuosity and magnetic stage presence, is completed by Miro’s drummer brother Aarni Palokallio and bassist Otso Gasser. The new album will be released by Suomen Musiikki.
