Helsinki-based powermetal band Beast In Black was formed in 2015 by guitarist Anton Kabanen, who had previously gained significant attention with Battle Beast. Tensions arose in the band after Kabanen walked off stage during a support slot for Sabaton, leading to his departure. A few months later, he founded Beast In Black. The band signed with the Nuclear Blast label and released their debut album, Berserker, in 2017. The album was well received, and in 2018, the band was invited to support Nightwish on their European tour.
The band’s third album, Dark Connection, blends two extremes: the hard, raw powermetal sound and its softer, poppy sing-along version. With epic solos, soaring vocals, synchronized dance moves, and high-energy entertainment, Beast In Black continues to captivate audiences with their dynamic performances.
