Released on the legendary Sugarhill Records, "Funk You Up", "Funky Sound (Tear the Roof Off)" and "I Don´t Need Your Love" paved the way for the talented vocalist to become a highly respected figure in the music scene. The singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist, who has collaborated with Stevie Wonder, Lenny Kravitz and D´Angelo, among others, released her solo debut "Black Diamond" in 1999, followed two years later by the huge success of "Mahogany Soul". Angie Stone, who has had a multi-stage career, released her 10th album "Love Language" in 2023.
